Description

The Moxa IMC-101-M-SC is an industrial 10/100BaseT(X) to 100BaseFX media converter with a multi-mode SC fibre port, rated for 0 to 60°C operation. It links a copper RJ45 Ethernet device to a multi-mode fibre run of typically 4 km on 62.5/125 µm (OM1) or 5 km on 50/125 µm, making it suited to factory floors, utilities and other harsh or hazardous industrial sites.

The IMC-101 Series converter has a compact IP30 metal housing for DIN-rail mounting and redundant 12 to 45 VDC power inputs. Link Fault Pass-Through and a relay alarm output for power failure and port break simplify monitoring, while 1.5 kV magnetic isolation helps protect connected equipment. It is designed for hazardous locations (Class 1 Div. 2/Zone 2, IECEx) and carries DNV certification.
