Description

The ICF-1280I-S-ST-T is an industrial PROFIBUS-to-fibre converter that carries PROFIBUS DP signals over single-mode fibre with an ST connector. It extends PROFIBUS transmission distance up to 45 km and supports a redundant fibre ring, making it well suited to factory automation, process control and other long-haul industrial links. This -T model is the wide-temperature version, rated for -40 to 75°C.

Built-in 2 kV galvanic isolation, dual 12 to 48 VDC power inputs and a relay alarm output help protect and monitor the link. Auto baudrate detection handles data rates from 9600 bps to 12 Mbps, and the metal DIN-rail housing suits control cabinets and harsh industrial environments.
