Description

The Moxa ICF-1280I-M-ST-T is an industrial PROFIBUS-to-fiber converter that converts PROFIBUS signals from copper to multi-mode optical fibre over two ST ports. It supports redundant fibre ring topologies and is the wide-temperature variant, rated for operation from -40 to 75C, making it suited to harsh factory, process and outdoor cabinet environments.

With auto baudrate detection from 9.6 kbps up to 12 Mbps, redundant 12 to 48 VDC dual power inputs and 2 kV galvanic isolation, it extends PROFIBUS segments up to 4 km over multi-mode fibre. A metal IP30 housing and DIN-rail mounting make installation straightforward in standard control cabinets.
