Description

The Moxa ICF-1280I-M-ST is an industrial PROFIBUS-to-fiber converter that carries PROFIBUS DP signals over multi-mode fibre using two ST connectors. It links a DB9 PROFIBUS port (9600 bps to 12 Mbps) to 100BaseFX fibre, covering up to 4 km, and is built for standard 0 to 60°C environments.

Two fibre ports support a redundant fibre ring with zero recovery time, while 2 kV built-in galvanic isolation and dual 12 to 48 VDC power inputs protect uptime in electrically noisy plants. The metal IP30 housing mounts on a DIN rail, and a relay output provides alarm signalling.
