Description

The ICF-1180I PROFIBUS-to-fiber converter carries PROFIBUS DP signals over single-mode fibre with an ST connector, extending transmission distances up to 45 km. This wide-temperature variant is rated for -40 to 75°C operation, making it suited to harsh industrial automation, process control and remote plant deployments.

Built-in 2 kV galvanic isolation, dual redundant 12 to 48 VDC power inputs and automatic baudrate detection from 9600 bps to 12 Mbps help keep PROFIBUS segments stable across long fibre runs. The metal IP30 housing supports DIN-rail (with optional kit) or wall mounting, and the converter carries hazardous location approvals including ATEX, Class I Division 2 and IECEx.
