Description

The Moxa ICF-1171I-M-ST-T is an industrial CAN-to-fibre converter that extends CAN 2.0A/2.0B and CAN FD bus distance up to 2 km over multi-mode fibre with an ST connector. It features 2 kV isolation on the CAN port, dual redundant 12 to 48 VDC power inputs and a wide-temperature rating of -40 to 75°C, suited to factory automation, transport and harsh outdoor cabinets.

The fanless IP30 metal housing mounts on DIN rail or a wall with the optional kit. A DIP switch enables the 120-ohm terminal resistor, rotary switches set the CAN 2.0 and CAN FD arbitration and data rates, and LEDs show CAN bus, fibre and power status for fast on-site diagnostics. A relay output provides fault signalling to external systems.
