Description

The Moxa ICF-1171I-M-ST is an industrial CAN-to-fibre converter for extending CAN 2.0 and CAN FD networks over multi-mode fibre with an ST connector. Deployed in pairs, it links two CAN devices or networks across distances of up to 2 km, with 2 kV isolation on the CAN interface. This multi-mode ST variant is rated for operation from 0 to 60°C.

Dual redundant 12 to 48 VDC power inputs, a metal IP30 housing and DIN-rail mounting make it well suited to control cabinets and factory floor installations. DIP and rotary switches allow quick configuration of terminal resistance and CAN arbitration and data rates, while front-panel LEDs simplify diagnostics of the CAN bus, fibre link and power inputs.
