Description

The Moxa ICF-1150I-S-ST-T is an industrial RS-232/422/485 to single-mode fibre converter with an ST connector, 2 kV isolation and a -40 to 85°C operating temperature range. It extends serial transmission up to 40 km over single-mode fibre, making it well suited to harsh industrial environments such as factory floors, substations and outdoor cabinets.

The converter provides 3-way communication across RS-232, RS-422/485 and fibre, supports baudrates from 50 bps to 921.6 kbps, and uses ADDC (automatic data direction control) for RS-485. A rotary switch adjusts the pull high/low resistor value, and DIN-rail mounting makes installation straightforward. It is certified for C1D2, ATEX and IECEx hazardous locations.
