Description

The ICF-1150I-S-SC-T-IEX is an industrial RS-232/422/485 to single-mode fibre converter with an SC connector, built to extend serial links up to 40 km. It provides 2 kV isolation and is certified for hazardous locations with IECEx, ATEX Zone 2 and UL/cUL Class I Division 2, making it suited to oil and gas, mining, utilities and other harsh industrial deployments.

The wide-temperature design operates from -40 to 85C and runs from a 12 to 48 VDC input. A metal IP30 housing with DIN-rail mounting, automatic data direction control for RS-485 and an adjustable pull high/low resistor via rotary switch simplify installation and commissioning.
