Description

The ICF-1150I-S-SC is an industrial RS-232/422/485 to single-mode fibre converter with an SC connector, built to extend serial links up to 40 km. It provides 2 kV isolation and operates across 0 to 60°C, making it suited to factory automation, process control and utility sites where serial devices must be linked over long distances or through electrically noisy environments.

The converter supports two serial ports, with RS-232 on a DB9 female connector and RS-422/485 on a 5-pin terminal block, alongside a single-mode SC fibre port. Automatic data direction control (ADDC) simplifies RS-485 multidrop and daisy-chain deployments, and a rotary switch adjusts the pull high/low resistor value to suit the network.
