Description

The ICF-1150I-S-SC-IEX is an industrial serial to single-mode fibre converter that carries RS-232, RS-422 and RS-485 signals over fibre with an SC connector, extending serial links up to 40 km. It provides 2 kV isolation and carries IECEx, ATEX Zone 2 and UL Class I Division 2 hazardous location certifications, with an operating range of 0 to 60°C.

Built for DIN-rail installation in a rugged IP30 metal housing, it runs from a single 12 to 48 VDC input with overload current protection. Automatic data direction control (ADDC) simplifies RS-485 wiring, and support for non-standard baudrates from 50 bps to 921.6 kbps makes it suitable for legacy industrial serial devices in factory, utility and hazardous area networks.
