Description

The Moxa ICF-1150I-M-ST-T is an industrial serial-to-fiber converter that carries RS-232, RS-422 and RS-485 signals over multi-mode optical fibre using an ST connector. With 2 kV isolation protection and a -40 to 85°C wide-temperature rating, it suits harsh industrial environments such as factory floors, substations and outdoor cabinets where noise immunity matters.

The converter extends serial transmission up to 5 km over multi-mode fibre and supports baudrates from 50 bps to 921.6 kbps. Its 3-way communication design links RS-232, RS-422/485 and fibre, while a rotary switch lets you adjust the pull high/low resistor value for the connected serial network. It is C1D2, ATEX and IECEx certified for hazardous-location applications.
