Description

The ICF-1150I-M-ST-T-IEX is an industrial serial-to-fibre converter that links RS-232/422/485 devices to multi-mode fibre over an ST connector, extending serial transmission up to a typical 5 km at 850 nm. It provides 2 kV isolation and an extended -40 to 85°C operating range, and carries IECEx, ATEX Zone 2 and UL Class I Division 2 hazardous-location approvals, making it suited to harsh and classified industrial environments.

The compact IP30 metal housing mounts on a DIN rail and runs from a 12 to 48 VDC input via a terminal block. Automatic data direction control (ADDC) simplifies RS-485 deployments, and support for baudrates from 50 bps to 921.6 kbps, including non-standard rates, helps it work with a wide range of serial equipment.
