Description

The ICF-1150-S-SC-IEX is an industrial serial-to-fibre converter that carries RS-232, RS-422 or RS-485 signals over single-mode fibre using an SC connector, extending serial transmission up to 40 km. This model is IECEx certified, has no isolation and operates from 0 to 60°C, making it suited to serial links in hazardous or harsh industrial locations.

With 2 serial ports and a 12 to 48 VDC power input, it supports baudrates from 50 bps to 921.6 kbps, including non-standard rates. Automatic data direction control simplifies RS-485 deployments, and a rotary switch adjusts the pull high/low resistor value to suit your network.
