Description

The ICF-1150-M-ST-T is an industrial serial-to-fibre converter that carries RS-232, RS-422 and RS-485 signals over multi-mode fibre with an ST connector, extending the link up to 5 km. This wide-temperature model operates from -40 to 85°C and has no isolation, making it well suited to serial devices in harsh industrial cabinets, plants and field sites.

The metal IP30 housing mounts on a DIN rail and runs from a 12 to 48 VDC supply with overload current protection. A rotary switch sets the pull high/low resistor value for RS-485, and automatic data direction control removes the need for manual direction handling. The unit is rated for UL/cUL Class I Division 2 and ATEX Zone 2 hazardous locations.
