Description

The ICF-1150-M-ST-T-IEX is an industrial RS-232/422/485 serial-to-fiber converter with a multi-mode ST connector, designed to extend serial links up to 5 km over multi-mode fibre. This wide-temperature model operates from -40 to 85°C and carries IECEx, ATEX Zone 2 and UL/cUL Class I Division 2 certification, making it suited to hazardous-location and harsh industrial deployments. It is the non-isolated variant of the ICF-1150 range.

A metal IP30 housing with DIN-rail mounting and a 12 to 48 VDC power input make it straightforward to install in control cabinets. Baudrates from 50 bps to 921.6 kbps are supported, with automatic data direction control for RS-485 and a rotary switch for selecting the pull high/low resistor value.
