Description

The ICF-1150-M-ST is an industrial RS-232/422/485 to multi-mode fibre converter with an ST connector, built to extend serial links up to 5 km over multi-mode fibre. This is the standard-temperature model, rated 0 to 60°C, and it is non-isolated and non-IECEx, making it a straightforward choice for factory floors, plant rooms and other industrial serial networks.

The converter provides three-way communication between RS-232 (DB9 female), RS-422/485 (5-pin terminal block) and fibre, with baudrates from 50 bps to 921.6 kbps and automatic data direction control for RS-485. A rotary switch adjusts the pull high/low resistor value, and the metal IP30 housing mounts on a DIN rail with a 12 to 48 VDC power input.
