Description

The ICF-1150 industrial serial to fiber converter links RS-232, RS-422 and RS-485 to a multi-mode fiber port with an ST connector, extending serial transmission up to 5 km. This IECEx certified, non-isolated model is rated for 0 to 60°C operation and suits serial device networks in hazardous locations, factory automation and remote monitoring.

The converter provides three independent communication ports in a compact IP30 metal housing for DIN-rail mounting. A rotary switch adjusts the pull high/low resistor value, automatic data direction control simplifies RS-485 wiring, and the wide 12 to 48 VDC input with overload current protection supports flexible power arrangements.
