Description

The ICF-1150 industrial serial-to-fiber converter extends RS-232, RS-422 and RS-485 serial links over multi-mode fibre with an SC connector, reaching up to 5 km. This non-isolated model is IECEx certified for hazardous locations and operates across a -40 to 85°C temperature range, making it suited to harsh industrial sites.

Two serial ports share a 5-pin terminal block connection, with automatic data direction control for RS-485 and support for non-standard baudrates from 50 bps to 921.6 kbps. A rugged IP30 metal housing with DIN-rail mounting and a 12 to 48 VDC power input make it straightforward to deploy in control cabinets alongside other industrial networking gear.
