Description

The Moxa EDS-518E-4GTXSFP-T is an industrial managed Ethernet switch with 14 10/100BaseT(X) RJ45 ports and 4 combo Gigabit ports that accept either 10/100/1000BaseT(X) copper or 100/1000BaseSFP fibre. It is built for harsh environments, with a -40 to 75C operating range, an IP30 metal housing and DIN-rail mounting, making it well suited to factory automation, power substation, railway, traffic control and maritime networks.

Redundant dual power inputs (12/24/48/-48 VDC, 9.6 to 60 VDC operating) with overload and reverse polarity protection keep the switch running through power faults. Turbo Ring and Turbo Chain redundancy, RSTP/STP/MSTP and MRP provide fast network recovery, while EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP and PROFINET IO Device support allows direct integration with industrial control systems. Security features include HTTPS/SSL, SSH, RADIUS, TACACS+, SNMPv3, MAC ACL, Sticky MAC and port lock.
