Description

The EDS-208A-SS-SC-T is a compact 8-port industrial unmanaged Ethernet switch with 6 x 10/100BaseT(X) RJ45 ports and 2 x 100BaseFX single-mode SC fibre ports. Single-mode fibre reaches up to 40 km, and the -T model is rated for a wide operating temperature range of -40 to 75°C, making it well suited to outdoor cabinets, substations, transport and maritime installations.

Redundant dual 12/24/48 VDC power inputs (9.6 to 60 VDC operating range) keep the switch running if one supply fails, and the IP30 aluminium housing mounts to a DIN rail or a wall with the optional kit. A DIP switch enables or disables broadcast storm protection, and the switch holds approvals for hazardous locations (ATEX, Class I Division 2), railway (EN 50121-4), traffic control (NEMA TS2) and maritime (ABS, LR, NK, DNV) use.
