Description

The EDS-208A-S-SC is a compact, industrial-grade 8-port unmanaged Ethernet switch with 7 x 10/100BaseT(X) RJ45 ports and 1 x 100BaseFX single-mode SC fibre port. It suits factory floors, transport and utility networks where a copper-to-fibre uplink is needed over long distances, with a typical single-mode reach of 40 km and a standard operating range of -10 to 60°C.

Redundant dual 12/24/48 VDC power inputs, an IP30 aluminium housing and DIN-rail mounting make it straightforward to deploy in control cabinets. Plug-and-play operation with auto-negotiation and auto MDI/MDI-X means no configuration is required, while a DIP switch enables broadcast storm protection.
