Description

The Moxa EDS-208A-MM-SC is a compact 8-port unmanaged industrial Ethernet switch with 6 x 10/100BaseT(X) RJ45 ports and 2 x 100BaseFX multi-mode SC fibre ports. It suits industrial automation networks that need copper device connections plus fibre links of up to 4 km over multi-mode fibre, in a standard -10 to 60°C operating temperature range.

Redundant dual 12/24/48 VDC power inputs (9.6 to 60 VDC operating range), an IP30 aluminium housing and DIN-rail mounting make it easy to deploy in control cabinets. A DIP switch enables or disables broadcast storm protection, and the unit includes overload current and reverse polarity protection. Hazardous location approvals (Class I Division 2, ATEX), railway, traffic control and maritime certifications broaden where it can be installed.
