Description

The Moxa EDS-205A-M-ST is a compact 5-port unmanaged industrial Ethernet switch with 4 x 10/100BaseT(X) RJ45 ports and 1 x 100BaseFX multi-mode port with an ST connector. Built for factory floors, substations and other harsh sites, it uses an IP30 aluminium housing and supports operation from -10 to 60°C, with fibre reach of up to 4 km over multi-mode cable.

Redundant dual 12/24/48 VDC power inputs (9.6 to 60 VDC) keep the switch running if one supply fails, while DIP switches let you enable broadcast storm protection and QoS without any software configuration. DIN-rail mounting suits standard industrial cabinets, and hazardous location, maritime, railway and traffic control approvals make it suitable for demanding automation and transport networks.
