Description

The Moxa EDS-205A-M-SC is a compact 5-port industrial unmanaged Ethernet switch with four 10/100BaseT(X) RJ45 ports and one 100BaseFX multi-mode SC fibre port. The multi-mode SC uplink supports fibre runs of up to 4 km, making it a practical choice for linking field equipment back to a control room or between cabinets. It operates across a -10 to 60°C temperature range.

Redundant dual 12/24/48 VDC power inputs (9.6 to 60 VDC operating range) with overload and reverse polarity protection keep the switch running if one supply fails. The IP30 aluminium housing mounts on a DIN rail, with wall mounting available using an optional kit, and plug-and-play operation means no configuration is required.
