Description

The Moxa A53-DB9F w/ Adapter is a Transio A53 serial converter that bridges RS-232 to RS-422/485 with 2 kV isolation protection. Built for industrial automation and field serial networks, it uses automatic data direction control (ADDC) for RS-485 and automatic baudrate detection, so it works without manual direction switching. This bundle includes a DB9F serial cable and a power adapter, so it is ready to deploy out of the box.

The compact IP30 plastic housing accepts a 9 to 30 VDC input and supports RS-485 multidrop operation of up to 32 nodes. RS-422 hardware flow control (CTS, RTS) and LED indicators for power and signal status make installation and troubleshooting straightforward in control cabinets and on equipment racks.
