Description

The Transio A53-DB25F is an RS-232 to RS-422/485 serial converter with 2 kV isolation, built for protecting industrial serial links from ground loops and surges. This variant ships with a 10-pin RJ45 to DB25F serial cable and without a power adapter, so it suits installations that already have a 9-30 VDC supply.

Automatic data direction control (ADDC) removes the need for software handling of RS-485 direction, and automatic baudrate detection simplifies setup. Built-in 120-ohm termination resistors and RS-485 multidrop support for up to 32 nodes make it a practical choice for connecting legacy RS-232 equipment to longer-distance RS-422/485 networks.
