Description

The HPE AF651A is an 8-port G3 analog KVM console switch (0x1x8 configuration) that lets you manage up to 8 rackmount servers from a single console through an on-screen display. It suits server rooms and data centre racks where you need centralised keyboard, video and mouse access without dedicating a console to every server.

Tiering through the RJ-45 port allows expansion to additional servers, up to 256 across the data centre from one interface. The switch can be upgraded to KVM-over-IP with an optional USB Remote Access Key, and supports HPE Power Discovery Services and Location Discovery Services when connected to a compatible PDU and KVM rack console. It shares 1U of rack front-panel space with the rack console or mounts in a zero-U profile on the side rails.
