Description

The Granit Ultra 2100i XLR is an ultra-rugged corded 2D area-imaging barcode scanner built for ultra long range reading, with a typical read distance of up to about 30 m on 100 mil Code 39. This 2100IXLR-3USBR variant is the red USB kit, ready to connect to a host over USB. It suits warehouses, distribution centres, cold storage and outdoor yards where operators need to scan high-mounted or distant labels without leaving the floor.

It reads 1D and 2D symbologies, Digimarc digital watermarks and OCR fonts, and handles damaged or low-contrast codes. IP65 and IP68 sealing, 3 m drop resistance and operation from -30°C to 50°C keep it working through demanding shifts. USB, Keyboard Wedge and RS-232 TTL host interfaces are supported, with configuration through EZConfig and the Scanner Management Utility.

Features

- Average 45% scanning speed increase compared with the Granit XP1
- Ultra long range reading for high-rack and distant label scanning
- Reads damaged and low-quality barcodes quickly
- Multi-code reading with output in a predefined order using Data Format Editor
- Survives 3 m drops, heavy tumbling and IP65/IP68 wash-down conditions
- Scanner Management Utility (SMU) automates deployment and updates
- Simple custom configuration by scanning a barcode
- Compatible with stands, holders, holsters, power supplies, cables and heaters

Q: How rugged is the Granit Ultra 2100i XLR?
A: It is rated IP65 and IP68, survives 3 m (10 ft) drops to MIL-STD-810G, withstands 7,500 x 1 m tumbles and operates from -30°C to 50°C.

Q: Which barcode types can it read?
A: It decodes common 1D codes such as Code 39, Code 128, EAN, UPC and GS1 DataBar, 2D codes including QR, Data Matrix, PDF417, Aztec and DotCode, plus Digimarc watermarks and OCR fonts.
