Description

The Honeywell 1960GSR-2USB-R is a corded Xenon Ultra 1960g 1D/2D area-imaging barcode scanner built for retail and point-of-sale counters. This standard range (SR) model in black ships as a USB kit with a USB-A cable, so it is ready to connect to a POS terminal or PC. It reads 1D and 2D codes including PDF417, and uses an integrated Green Dot LED crosshair for fast, accurate aiming.

Based on the Xenon XP platform, the scanner works handheld or in presentation mode with an optional stand. Object Detection (IR) helps prevent false wake-ups, and optimised illumination supports consistent reads at the checkout. The modern POS design suits front-of-house environments, and the scanner also supports RS-232 and Keyboard Wedge interfaces.
