Description

The FG-4801F-DC is a high-performance data centre next-generation firewall built for hyperscale and large enterprise deployments. It delivers 8x 400GE/200GE QSFP-DD slots, 12x 200GE/100GE/40GE QSFP56/28 slots and 12x 50GE/25GE/10GE SFP56/28 slots, with SPU NP7 and CP9 hardware acceleration. This DC power variant ships with 4x DC power supplies and 2x 1.92TB storage, making it suited to telco and data centre environments with -48V DC feeds.

Two 10GE RJ45 management ports provide dedicated out-of-band access, while the dense mix of 400GE, 200GE and 50GE interfaces allows flexible consolidation of core, edge and segmentation roles. The FG-4801F-DC runs FortiOS and integrates with the wider Fortinet Security Fabric.

• Hardware Warranty: All Fortinet hardware products come with a 1-year (365 days) limited warranty from the Warranty Start Date, covering material defects in workmanship when compared to the published Functional Specifications.
• Software Warranty: Fortinet software is warranted for 90 days from the Warranty Start Date. An exception is FortiToken, which carries a 1-year warranty.
• Limited Lifetime Warranty Products:
Some products are covered by extended terms:
o FortiAP and FortiSwitch (excluding FortiSwitch-5000 series) include a limited lifetime warranty valid for 5 years beyond the product’s announced end-of-life date.
o FortiSwitch-5000 series is covered under the standard 1-year hardware warranty.
