Description

The FortiDDoS-2000F is a hardware DDoS protection appliance that delivers 4 port-pairs of DDoS defence, made up of 2 pairs of 10GE SFP+ and 2 pairs of 40GE QSFP+ ports. It includes a 2-link optical bypass module, so this variant keeps traffic flowing across the protected links if the appliance loses power.

The optical bypass module is designed for use with single-mode DR, LR, ER and ZR transceivers operating at 1310nm and 1550nm. Two GE RJ45 management ports provide out-of-band access, and dual redundant power supplies support continuous operation in enterprise and service provider network edges.
