Description

The FG-4800F-DC is a high-end data-centre and carrier-class next-generation firewall in the FortiGate 4800F family, built with four DC power supplies for telco and data-centre environments running DC power. It delivers 8 x 400GE/200GE QSFP-DD slots, 12 x 200GE/100GE/40GE QSFP56/28 slots and 12 x 50GE/25GE/10GE SFP56/28 slots for very high-density, high-throughput deployments.

SPU NP7 network processors and CP9 content processors provide hardware acceleration for demanding security workloads, while two 10GE RJ45 management ports keep out-of-band administration separate from production traffic. This DC-powered variant suits core network edge, hyperscale and service provider designs where AC supplies are not preferred.

• Hardware Warranty: All Fortinet hardware products come with a 1-year (365 days) limited warranty from the Warranty Start Date, covering material defects in workmanship when compared to the published Functional Specifications.
• Software Warranty: Fortinet software is warranted for 90 days from the Warranty Start Date. An exception is FortiToken, which carries a 1-year warranty.
• Limited Lifetime Warranty Products:
Some products are covered by extended terms:
o FortiAP and FortiSwitch (excluding FortiSwitch-5000 series) include a limited lifetime warranty valid for 5 years beyond the product’s announced end-of-life date.
o FortiSwitch-5000 series is covered under the standard 1-year hardware warranty.
