Description

The Fortinet FortiGate 4801F is a high-end data-centre and hyperscale next-generation firewall with high-density 400GE, 200GE and 50GE connectivity. It provides 8 x 400GE/200GE QSFP-DD slots, 12 x 200GE/100GE/40GE QSFP56/28 slots and 12 x 50GE/25GE/10GE SFP56/28 slots, with SPU NP7 and CP9 hardware acceleration for demanding network security workloads.

This configuration includes 2 x 1.92TB of onboard storage and four AC power supplies, with two 10GE RJ45 management ports for out-of-band administration. It suits large enterprise, service provider and hyperscale data-centre edge and core deployments that need very high port density and power redundancy.
