Description

The FG-201E is an enterprise-class next-generation firewall appliance for mid-sized networks, delivering 18 GE RJ45 ports, 4 GE SFP slots and 480GB of onboard SSD storage for local logging and reporting. NP6Lite network processor and CP9 content processor acceleration offload security and traffic processing from the main CPU.

Running the FortiOS security operating system, it provides next-generation firewall, IPS, application control and VPN capabilities in a 1U rackmount chassis. It integrates with the wider Fortinet Security Fabric for centralised visibility and policy control.

Warranty

• Hardware Warranty: All Fortinet hardware products come with a 1-year (365 days) limited warranty from the Warranty Start Date, covering material defects in workmanship when compared to the published Functional Specifications.
• Software Warranty: Fortinet software is warranted for 90 days from the Warranty Start Date. An exception is FortiToken, which carries a 1-year warranty.
• Limited Lifetime Warranty Products:
Some products are covered by extended terms:
o FortiAP and FortiSwitch (excluding FortiSwitch-5000 series) include a limited lifetime warranty valid for 5 years beyond the product’s announced end-of-life date.
