Description

The FortiADC 420F is a purpose-built application delivery controller (ADC) designed for enterprise and data centre environments requiring high-throughput load balancing, SSL offloading, and application acceleration. Delivering up to 15 Gbps of throughput with a dedicated hardware SSL accelerator, the FAD-420F ensures fast, secure delivery of web applications and services without taxing backend servers. Flexible connectivity across 4x GE RJ45, 4x GE SFP, and 4x SFP+ 10GbE ports makes it well-suited for both access and core network tiers.

Built on Fortinet's FortiADC platform, this appliance integrates Layer 4–7 load balancing, global server load balancing (GSLB), Web Application Firewall (WAF), and DDoS protection into a single rack-unit form factor. Onboard 120 GB SSD storage supports local logging and analytics, while an optional redundant PSU provides the resilience demanded by production environments.

• Software Warranty: Fortinet software is warranted for 90 days from the Warranty Start Date. An exception is FortiToken, which carries a 1-year warranty.
• Limited Lifetime Warranty Products:
Some products are covered by extended terms:
o FortiAP and FortiSwitch (excluding FortiSwitch-5000 series) include a limited lifetime warranty valid for 5 years beyond the product’s announced end-of-life date.
o FortiSwitch-5000 series is covered under the standard 1-year hardware warranty.
