Description

The 25G SFP28 SR transceiver is a 25GBASE-SR optical module for short-reach multimode fibre links in data centre and campus networks. It uses 850nm optics with a duplex LC connector and reaches up to 70m over OM3 or 100m over OM4 multimode fibre.

The module plugs into SFP28 ports and is listed in the Arista Optics Modules and Cables ordering information. It is built for server-to-switch and switch-to-switch 25 Gigabit Ethernet connections where standard LC duplex multimode cabling is already in place.
