Description

The QSFP-40G-PLR4 is a 40G QSFP+ optical transceiver that runs four parallel 10G lanes over parallel single-mode fibre, reaching up to 10km. It uses an MPO-12 APC (MTP-12) connector and operates at 1310nm over G.652 SMF, making it suited to long-reach 40G links and 4x10G breakout deployments in data centre and campus networks.

This 40GBASE-PLR4 optic interoperates with 4x10G LR optics up to 10km and with LRL optics up to 1km. It forms part of Arista's 40G QSFP+ optics portfolio, with a maximum power consumption of 3.5W.
