Description

The RKS-G4028-PoE-4GS-HV-T is a Layer 2 modular managed industrial rackmount Ethernet switch with 4 fixed 100/1000BaseSFP ports and 3 slots for interface modules, including PoE modules. It supports IEEE 802.3af/at/bt with a 300 W total PoE budget, and is powered by an isolated 110/220 VAC/VDC (HV) supply. It operates across an extended -40 to 75°C range, suiting substations, rail and traffic control cabinets.

The module slots accept 8-port or 6-port 10/100/1000BaseT(X), 10/100BaseT(X), 100/1000BaseSFP or 100BaseFX modules, so the port mix can be matched to each site. Redundancy protocols such as Turbo Ring v2, Turbo Chain, MRP and RSTP/MSTP, hardware-based IEEE 1588v2 PTP and IEC 62443-4-2 Security Level 2 support make it a fit for mission-critical industrial networks.
