Description

The Moxa EDS-611 is a compact modular managed Ethernet switch for industrial automation networks, with 3 Gigabit combo ports (10/100/1000BaseT(X) or 100/1000BaseSFP) and 2 slots for 4-port Fast Ethernet interface modules. This standard temperature model operates from 0 to 60 °C and supplies up to 11 ports in total once both module slots are populated.

The interface modules are hot-swappable and available in copper and fibre combinations, so the port mix can be tailored to the application and changed without interrupting the network. Interface modules are not included with this switch. Turbo Ring, Turbo Chain and STP/RSTP/MSTP provide network redundancy, while TACACS+, SNMPv3, IEEE 802.1X, HTTPS and SSH support secure management.
