Description

The EDS-4012-8P-4GS-LVA is an industrial Layer 2 managed Ethernet switch with 8 10/100BaseT(X) 802.3bt PoE ports and 4 100/1000BaseSFP ports. Powered by redundant dual 48 VDC inputs through the pre-installed LV power module, it delivers up to 90 W per PoE port with a maximum 240 W total PD power budget, and operates from -10 to 60°C. Its metal DIN-rail housing suits control cabinets and field installations.

The switch supports Turbo Ring v2, Turbo Chain, MRP and RSTP/MSTP redundancy, hardware-based IEEE 1588v2 PTP time synchronisation, and EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP and PROFINET IO Device protocols. IEC 62443-4-2 Security Level 2 cybersecurity and certifications for rail, traffic control and power substation environments make it well suited to demanding industrial networks.
