Description

The Moxa EDS-4008-2MST-HV is a compact DIN-rail Layer 2 managed industrial Ethernet switch with 6 x 10/100BaseT(X) RJ45 ports and 2 x 100BaseFX multi-mode ports with ST connectors. It runs from a single 110/220 VAC/VDC power input and operates across a -10 to 60°C temperature range, making it well suited to factory floors, control cabinets and utility installations that need fibre uplinks alongside copper device connections.

Turbo Ring, Turbo Chain and RSTP/STP provide network redundancy, with recovery times under 20 ms across 250 switches. The modular power supply, wide-range power input and compact housing allow flexible deployment in confined spaces, and IEC 62443-4-2 Security Level 2 certification supports industrial cybersecurity requirements.
