Description

The Moxa EDS-4008-4P-2GT-2GS-LVA is an industrial 8-port Layer 2 managed Gigabit PoE switch from the EDS-4008 series, built for DIN-rail deployment in factory, transport and utility networks. It combines four 10/100 802.3bt PoE ports, two 10/100/1000 copper ports and two 100/1000 SFP slots. The LVA power bypass design feeds the PoE ports directly from the 48 VDC input, delivering up to 90 W per port within a 240 W total PoE budget.

Turbo Ring, Turbo Chain and RSTP/STP provide fast network redundancy, with Turbo Ring and Turbo Chain recovering in under 20 ms at 250 switches. The metal IP40 housing operates from 0 to 60 C and supports DIN-rail mounting, or wall mounting with an optional kit. The EDS-(G)4000 series is certified to IEC 62443-4-2 Security Level 2.
