Description

The EDS-518A-MM-SC is an industrial Layer 2 managed Ethernet switch built for factory floors, substations and transport systems. It provides 14 x 10/100BaseT(X) RJ45 ports, 2 x 100BaseFX multi-mode SC fibre ports and 2 combo 10/100/1000BaseT(X) or 1000BaseSFP Gigabit ports, and is rated for 0 to 60°C operation in an IP30 metal housing.

Turbo Ring and Turbo Chain redundancy, together with RSTP, STP, MSTP and LACP, keep industrial networks resilient. The switch has redundant dual 24 VDC power inputs with reverse polarity and overload protection, supports EtherNet/IP and Modbus TCP, and mounts on a DIN rail. ATEX, Class I Division 2 and maritime approvals (DNV, NK, LR) suit demanding environments.
