Description

The EDS-508A-SS-SC-80-T is an 8-port Layer 2 managed industrial Ethernet switch with 6 x 10/100BaseT(X) RJ45 ports and 2 x 100BaseFX single-mode SC fibre ports supporting links of up to 80 km. This wide-temperature model operates from -40 to 75°C, making it well suited to long-distance fibre backbones in harsh industrial environments such as substations, tunnels and remote pumping sites.

Built in an IP30 metal housing with DIN-rail mounting, it accepts redundant 12/24/48 VDC dual power inputs with reverse polarity and overload protection. Turbo Ring and Turbo Chain redundancy, VLAN, IGMP, QoS and SNMP management, plus HTTPS, SSH, RADIUS and TACACS+ security, provide the resilience and control needed for mission-critical industrial networks.
