Description

The Moxa EDS-408A-3M-SC-T is an entry-level Layer 2 managed industrial Ethernet switch with 5 x 10/100BaseT(X) RJ45 ports and 3 x 100BaseFX multi-mode SC fibre ports. The wide-temperature -T design operates from -40 to 75°C, suiting outdoor cabinets, factory floors and other harsh environments where copper and fibre connectivity are needed in one compact DIN-rail unit.

Turbo Ring, Turbo Chain and RSTP/STP provide network redundancy, with recovery times under 20 ms at 250 switches. VLAN, QoS and IGMP snooping support, plus EtherNet/IP and Modbus TCP, make it straightforward to integrate into industrial automation networks. Redundant dual 12/24/48 VDC inputs and an IP30 metal housing add reliability.
