Description

The EDS-408A-3S-SC-48 is a Layer 2 managed industrial Ethernet switch with 5 x 10/100BaseT(X) RJ45 ports and 3 x 100BaseFX single-mode SC fibre ports. It runs from redundant ±24/±48 VDC power inputs and suits industrial automation, transport and utility networks that need long-reach fibre links of up to 40 km.

Built in a compact IP30 metal housing for DIN-rail mounting, it supports Turbo Ring, Turbo Chain and RSTP/STP redundancy, along with EtherNet/IP and Modbus TCP protocol support. Secure management over HTTPS/SSL, SSH and SNMPv3 and a relay alarm output make it a dependable entry-level managed switch for control cabinets and field installations.
