Description

The Moxa EDS-405A-PN-T is a 5-port entry-level managed industrial Ethernet switch with 5 x 10/100BaseT(X) RJ45 ports and PROFINET IO Device support enabled by default. Its wide-temperature design operates from -40 to 75°C, making it suited to factory automation, transport and outdoor control cabinet deployments that need a compact managed switch on the PROFINET network.

Built into an IP30 metal housing for DIN-rail mounting, the switch accepts redundant 12/24/48 VDC power inputs and supports Turbo Ring, Turbo Chain and RSTP/STP redundancy. A GSDML file and SIMATIC STEP 7 device icons are available for PROFINET integration, and the switch can be managed through MXstudio, web browser, CLI or serial console.
