Description

The TRM500 industrial 5G cellular modem delivers speeds of up to 3.4 Gbps downlink in 5G NSA mode (4x4 MIMO), with backward compatibility for 4G LTE Cat 19 and 3G networks. This variant includes a power supply unit and connects to the host over USB Type-C, which carries network data and power at the same time and can act as a virtual network interface. It suits industrial, remote and fixed-wireless deployments where a compact, rugged modem is needed.

The TRM500 supports both 5G SA and NSA architectures and has four SMA antenna connectors for improved coverage. An anodised aluminium IP30 housing measuring 83 x 25 x 85.4 mm and weighing 94.5 g makes it easy to fit into tight enclosures. It can be mounted on a DIN rail, wall or flat surface using the appropriate additional kit, and drivers support all relevant host platforms.
