Description

The Palo Alto Networks PA-450 is a compact desktop next-generation firewall from the PA-400 Series, built for branch offices and mid-sized deployments. This PAN-PA-450 SKU is the appliance only with 8 x 1G RJ45 ports and a 100-240V AC power adapter, with security subscriptions and support sold separately. It delivers up to 3.8 Gbps firewall throughput and 1.6 Gbps threat prevention throughput on PAN-OS.

The PA-450 uses App-ID, User-ID and Content-ID to identify and control traffic, with ML-powered inline prevention against file-based attacks and phishing. SD-WAN capability and active/active or active/passive high availability make it a flexible edge security platform, and cloud-delivered security services can be added as separate subscriptions.

- App-ID, User-ID and Content-ID based traffic identification and control
- SD-WAN functionality

Warranty

Palo Alto Networks offers standard warranty coverage for both its hardware and software products to ensure reliability and peace of mind.

If a hardware issue occurs within this period, a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) will be issued to facilitate the repair or replacement process.
• Software Warranty: Palo Alto Networks software carries a 90-day warranty, which includes access to all applicable updates, bug fixes, and feature upgrades during that time. Updates can be downloaded through the device interface or via the secure support portal, accessible upon account creation and device registration.
These warranties provide baseline protection and access to critical updates but do not include advanced support or next-business-day hardware replacement.
